  1. Turn on the device you want to add.
  2. Tap the Add button at the top of the screen (represented by a plus sign).
  3. Select the Add Accessory option.
  4. You will then be prompted to scan a code or hold your smartphone (or tablet) near the device to sync it with your account.
  5. When a connection is established, select Allow to grant access to your network.
  6. Complete the procedure by adding the device to a room, giving it a name, and then press Continue and Done.

To sync your Apple TV with HomeKit, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings menu on your Apple TV.

  5. Scroll down to the Room option and find the room you want to add Apple TV to or create a new room.
