Linksys extends the line of 6-pin Wi-Fi router with AX1800 at affordable prices

Linksys today expanded its WiFi 6 router line with the launch of the budget AX1800. The latest offering not only supports the latest Wi-Fi standard and includes dual-band network technology for future expansion.

The MAX-STREAM AX1800 comes at an affordable price, starting at just $ 149.99 and supports homes up to 1,700 sqm. in size. The budget router has four LAN ports, a USB 3.0 port and can reach speeds of up to 1.8 gbps.

The network support allows the router to work with other routers with the Linksys network to extend coverage. The AX1800 can function either as the primary router in a network or as a node for an existing network.

The MAX-STREAM AX1800 Mesh WiFi 6 (MR7350) router follows the MAX-STREAM Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 (MR9600) router announced earlier this year, offering the latest WiFi standard and Linksys Intelligent Mesh signature technology ™ for a fast way, reliable and perfectly expandable home WiFi network. Designed with the same scalability and flexibility of Linksys network systems, the MAX-STREAM AX1800 Mesh WiFi 6 Router (MR7350) offers speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps and coverage of up to 1,700 square meters for streaming, gaming and non-stop viewing anywhere in the household.

The latest version aims to introduce the MAX-STREAM MR9600 earlier this year, which is designed for larger homes with a coverage of 3,000 square meters. The MR9600 also offers improved speeds, with it capable of hitting 6gbps, and just like the AX1800, it has dual-band network.
