Nanoleaf made waves at CES 2024 by taking the wraps off its new range of colour and lighting products for the smart home. Among the new products unveiled by Nanoleaf were the Essentials Matter Smart Multicolour Light Strip (Indoor), Outdoor String Lights, and Permanent Outdoor Lights. Additionally, the company announced the pre-order launch for the highly awaited Skylight Modular Ceiling Light.

Adding to its Matter lineup, Nanoleaf has launched three new smart lights that change colour and compatible with Matter. These smart lights include an Indoor Smart Multicolour Lightstrip, Outdoor Smart Multicolour String Lights, and Permanent Outdoor Smart Multicolour Lights. This marks the first time Nanoleaf has ventured into outdoor lighting with its Essentials Matter line. They offer dynamic gradients and cosy ambience to the external areas of your home, lighting up patios, backyards, and gardens all year round.

Using Nanoleaf's proprietary technology, these new smart lights can be seamlessly integrated with all your other Nanoleaf products. They come with a new set of pre-configured light scenes and access to thousands more through the Nanoleaf App.

The Essentials Matter line by Nanoleaf offers control options through Matter, the Nanoleaf App via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Users also have the flexibility to use voice commands or a manual controller for times when they want to go hands-free. The release of these new products from the Nanoleaf Essential Matter range is set for Spring 2024.

First showcased at CES 2023 and recipient of eight ‘Best of CES’ awards for design and innovation, Nanoleaf is at last set to roll out Skylight. Remarkably, this marks the debut of the world’s first-ever smart modular ceiling light panels featuring full design customizations. Skylight boasts a anchored modular square design offering diffused multi-point lighting to provide soft and natural light. Users can switch colours and scenes such as ‘Gentle Rain’ or ‘Sun Shower’ to create the perfect mood for various routines in bedrooms, or for focused work in office spaces. Make use of schedules to wake up to a soft sunrise scene filled with gentle hues of oranges and pinks to help kickstart your mornings, and settle down for the night under a twinkling star effect. Skylight can also be controlled remotely for enhanced security when you're not at home, or programmed to switch on/off at specific times.

You can wire just one square and then add up to 100 additional squares across your ceiling, with the liberty to create your own designs using the modular configuration. Skylight gives users the unprecedented capacity to extend their ceiling fixture into areas that were previously difficult to light up. Every single square disperses 1400 lumens of light and has a lifespan of 25,000 hours. Equipped with all of Nanoleaf’s smart capabilities, Skylight includes the Rhythm Music Visualiser, schedules, magic scenes, RGBW colour options, and more. Skylight can be controlled using the Nanoleaf App, the traditional light switch, or your preferred smart home ecosystem.

The Nanoleaf Skylight is immediately available for pre-order at go.nanoleaf.me and retails for US$249.99 for the Smarter Kit (3PK) and US$69.99 for the Expansion Packs (1PK). Delivery is expected in late January 2024.
