September 18, 2023 UPDATE Apple Expands the Power of iCloud with New iCloud+ Plans

Starting today, Apple users can choose from two additional iCloud+ plans: 6TB for $29.99 per month and 12TB for $59.99 per month. These plans are designed to supplement the powerful 48MP main cameras on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, which take iPhone photo and video recording to the next level with ultra-high-resolution photos and 4K videos.

With iCloud+, users can securely store large libraries of original, high-resolution photos and videos in iCloud, making them easily accessible across all devices and on the web. At the same time, optimized versions of these files are stored on the iPhone, automatically saving space. This is just one of the benefits of iCloud+.

Every iCloud+ plan offers premium features. Private Relay ensures complete privacy while browsing Safari, shielding the user's activity from network providers, websites, and even Apple, without compromising the browsing experience. Hide My Email allows users to generate unique, random email addresses whenever required, enabling them to sign up for newsletters, offers, and more without revealing their personal address. HomeKit Secure Video enables users to capture and view home security footage in an end-to-end encrypted format, ensuring that only the user and authorized individuals can access the footage. Custom email domains allow users to personalize their iCloud email address with a custom domain or purchase one directly from Mail Settings. Additionally, Family Sharing enables up to five other people in a family group to share all iCloud+ plans. This way, everyone in the household can enjoy the premium features of iCloud+, have sufficient storage space, and maintain the privacy and separation of their content.
