Ring provides you with Überwachungskameras for more security. When installing the Smart Home devices in each Apple HomeKit, there are a few little tricks to be done. Ring's security cameras are integrated into the Apple HomeKit app that connects and works with Siri. (Source: Ring)

If your Smart Home ever comes out of the closet, you can look into your room and watch video feeds from Ring. Amazon has found a major brand with Blink and Ring in the home security technology of the American market. When it comes to using an Apple HomeKit, you can easily and quickly control this Smart Home device with the voice assistant Siri. Will the Ring device be compatible with Apple and make it possible to use Amazon products? We have had a good experience.

Ring is not compatible with Apple's HomeKit, but Blink does support Apple's Ring. The device is not compatible with Apple's HomeKit supported software. However, there is a good alternative.

If the Ring device connects and controls Siri, it is true that Homebridge is a workaround solution. This free open source software can be connected to new devices over time and in the fall, Apple's Home app will be installed. This way, HomeKit support can be installed. The platform allows the use of plug-ins, including Ring's security room, which is not compatible with the Apple HomeKit. Homebridge can be installed on macOS, Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Docker, and Synology DSM.

After installing the user interface, you can install Homebridge and use it as another Home App. If you want to use the Smart Home function with your iOS device, you can encourage the use of the modified QR code. The Homebridge dashboard has the Ring plugins installed. If you want to know more, this can be a great resource for you.

If a Ring camera has turned blue, it means that a Smart Home device may have been added. Don't forget to subscribe to the NETZWELT Newsletter every Friday for informative and comprehensive information about the world of technology!
