The smart home arm Anker eufy Security has announced that the eufyCam 2 Pro camera system is now available for purchase at Apple stores and online at Apple.com. The HomeKit wireless camera system is the company's first smart home product to be sold to Apple.

With HomeKit Secure Video, users can view, share and store videos from eufyCam 2 Pro using iCloud. Apple TV, HomePod, or iPad configured as a home hub uses information from your device to privately analyze the live feed from eufyCam 2 Pro so that users can be notified when people, animals, or vehicles are present. A 10-day history of videos is securely stored in a user's iCloud, so all information about a user's home accessories is encrypted from end to end and private to the user.

The EufyCam 2 Pro sold at Apple consists of two wireless cameras and the eufy HomeBase 2 hub for connecting to home networks. The eufyCam 2 Pro cameras capture and stream 2K high-resolution videos with a 140-degree wide field of view and support many smart staples, such as two-way audio and infrared night vision. The eufy camera also has IP67 weather resistance, along with an extra-long battery life, which can last up to a year on a single charge.

The included HomeBase 2 hub allows the camera system to process movement events locally with A.I. which can filter notifications of inconvenience and store records locally at no extra charge. HomeBase 2 also opens the door to other eufy Security accessories, including its line of smart video ringtones and wireless cameras, such as the eufyCam 2C, with an integrated reflector.

The eufy's Pro camera system works with the HomeKit and HomeKit Secure Video features, including storing a 10-day continuous motion event in iCloud with a paid storage plan, as well as recent additions to iOS 14 such as Activity Zones and Facial Recognition.

The eufyCam 2 Pro dual-camera system is now available for $ 349.95 from Apple, with additional cameras also available for $ 149.99 from select retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy.
