The Philips Hue CES 2020 outdoor range is now available in Europe

Cupertino, March 8, 2020

Philips Hue made quite a lot of thanks this year at CES, which took place last month in Las Vegas, with the introduction of 11 new exterior luminaires, the first of which are now available. A number of six smart bodies are now available on European markets, including an update to the famous Lily light, as well as completely new wall-mounted projects.

With our latest additions to the Philips Hue Outdoor Collection, we provide consumers with endless possibilities to create unique and personalized lighting effects that enhance the home's curb appeal and set the right outdoor layout for every occasion.

As with most Hue accessories, the updated light range can display up to 16 million colors and 50,000 shades of white. Each device can be controlled via the Philips Hue app, as well as various voice assistants, such as Alexa Amazon, Google Assistant, and AppleKome HomeKit.

Four of Philips Hue's latest additions will be exclusive to Europe, only two starting in mid-March. The following Hue lights are available for purchase on Amazon UK starting today:

Philips Hue resonates

Even though the resonant light has a rectangular shape factor, these exterior lights actually create light triangles. Moreover, it is the fact that the light from them comes out both at the top and at the bottom creating a distinct appearance. The European exclusive Hue Resonate is available in both a black finish and stainless steel.

Philips Hue appears

Like the Resonate, Hue Appear designs triangular light beams from both sides of the outer body. However, the Appea takes a smaller cylindrical frame and will only be available in black. This light will also make its way to North America starting in mid-March.
