Next month, Vocolinc is set to publish a few new intelligent phones for the EU–the VP2, the European version of its PM2 and PM2E intelligent energy strips, presently accessible in the US, and the VP3, which is similar to the Vocolinc SmartBar, also for North America (and other nations using Type B plugs).
We've been sent test units for each of these appliances and we'll post a complete review once we've forwarded them to our EU reviewers. There's a picture here for now to whet your appetite.
There's no final word about releasing these two phones, but we're advised that by the end of the month the strip may be accessible in Amazon shops. The Strip should be priced at about € 59.99, but for the Smart Plug there is no cost yet.
