A new TP-Link Tapo Matter smart bulb has been released on Amazon today. TP-Link has been providing affordable smart home solutions for years, supporting HomeKit, Google Home, and Alexa ecosystems. Their range includes smart bulbs, plugs, power strips, switches, and more. Now, they're introducing their latest lighting solution with Matter support. Previously, we've covered the Tapo smart plugs and TP-Link Kasa switches, as well as the brand's previous lamp solutions. However, this new offering is the first TP-Link Tapo smart lamp with built-in Matter multi-platform support. Read on for more details.
The new TP-Link Tapo Matter smart lamp is unlike previous Tapo lamps you'd find on Amazon. The Tapo L535E lamp is Matter-certified. Matter is a new smart home system that allows all supported devices to be controlled from one place, simplifying the experience and avoiding the hassle of multiple ecosystems. TP-Link states that Matter devices work smoothly with certified platforms like Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. Even if your home internet is offline, all Matter-certified devices on your local area network (LAN) will continue to function. With Matter Multi-Admin, you can grant trusted individuals access to manage your devices easily and securely.
In addition to Matter certification, the new Tapo L535E lamp offers the usual benefits of a smart lamp solution. It provides 1,100 lumens of bright, high-quality lighting in millions of customizable RGBW colors. It also offers warm white (2500K) for a restful night's sleep, or cool white (6500K) for work hours. Voice and remote control capabilities are available through Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant. You can also use the Tapo app to dim, turn on/off, or change the color of the lights from anywhere.
The new TP-Link Tapo Matter Smart Bulb is now available for purchase on Amazon for $17.99 with free shipping for Prime members or on orders over $25. Don't forget to subscribe to the Homekit.Blog YouTube channel for the latest videos, reviews, and more!
