VOCOlinc Ripple: Small HomeKit aroma diffuser launches

Cupertino, January 1, 2022

Actually, VOVOlinc's new smart aroma diffuser with HomeKit integration was supposed to launch in mid-June. Now the new device is finally available.

With a price of 35,99€, the VOCOlinc Ripple should be much more interesting than the VOCOlinc Flowerbud, the oldest model from VOCOlinc. However, with the price, the capacity has also shrunk from 300ml to 220ml. But as an aroma diffuser, the capacity is rather secondary either way.

The VOCOlinc Mistflow humidifier, on the other hand, is supposed to address a completely different target group. It not only provides a pleasant scent, but also humidifies the air. In addition, the device has a capacity of 2.5 liters. It certainly makes sense for the upcoming dry heating season.

But back to the smallest model of VOCOlinc. Once you have set up the device via WLAN and filled it with water and a few drops of aroma oil, you can turn on the VOCOlinc Ripple via HomeKit. Then, a mist is generated via ultrasound, which guarantees a pleasant scent in rooms of up to 30 m².

Further relaxation is supposed to be provided by an integrated light, which you can also control via Apple's Smarthome platform. In addition to the brightness, you can also adjust the color.

If neither Siri nor your iPhone is available, you can always control the device via the three integrated buttons. You can adjust the backlight, turn on the aroma diffuser or activate a timer. As soon as the water tank is empty, the device switches off automatically.

You can get the device, which is only 16 cm high and with a diameter of just 11.2 cm very compact, now in the online store of VOCOlinc or at Alza.
