We reported back in early July that there were four fresh Yeelight compatible HomeKit lamps–two desk lamps, a bedside lamp, and a ground lamp. Of these, at least one of these appears to have been formally unveiled in China's Xiaomi Youpin Store now.
As you can guess by the name, the Yeelight Star Floor Lamp is a floor lamp compatible with HomeKit, as well as the Xiaomi Home App (My Home) and Yeelight's own application. Essentially, it is a floor lamp with an integrated set of LEDs housed in a unique enclosure intended to look like a standard lamp shade and behave like it.
The light itself is designed to emit full color, so you get cool to warm whites, as well as standard 16 m colors, covering 2700–6500K. The same control panel used on the Mi Bedside Lamp 2 is used to manage the lamp physically, using two touch-sensitive buttons as well as a brightness slide control.
