ZemiSmart has released another Matter product, and on this occasion it is a dimmable and tunable light bulb. In the case of this Matter product it uses Matter over WiFi, so not great for us Thread fans, but as it is Matter certified and WiFi there is no other hub or app to worry about other than the one for your preferred ecosystem. a lot is a plus. Issue of tunable WiFi light bulb One word of warning for our American readers; This is only designed for 220 ~ 240 V AC at 50 Hz, so unfortunately it won't work with US voltage standards. However, if you are in the EU, you can use this lamp without any problems. The bulb itself has the very retro ST54 pear-shaped design that we first saw on Philips Hue's own releases a few years ago, although the original models were set to warm white. ZemiSmart's offering, on the other hand, includes 2700~6500K, to produce both warm and standard 'day' light. At just 7 watts, this won't be suitable for the brightest of environments, but it should be fine for kitchen countertops, or even stylish retro accent lighting, as it's dimmable, of course. Since this is a Matter product, if you are also a fan of the Tuya platform, you can add this as well, as long as you also have the ZemiSmart M1 Gateway, a Matter Controller (for Tuya only). as a Zigbee hub and a Thread Border Router. You can watch our video of the hub below, and if you're interested in purchasing one, you can purchase it directly from ZemiSmart's own store for US$16.50 or whatever equivalent currency you use.
