So I have an Abode alarm system. (Nu iota)
I have the system exposed to the HomeKit.
I initially started with the Abode system due to the fact that I would not need the homebridge to use the alarm door and motion sensors to automate the lights in the HomeKit.
The vending machines we have set up work every time, but they are very late. Up to 10 seconds. Which seems strange to me, because the home gateway immediately records the status of the sensor with a gateway beep.
10 seconds is too long to wait for the lights to come on in a dark room. Does anyone else have this problem?
I sent an email to Abode and they sent me an answer to a completely unrelated issue. And I haven't found out since.
