Just curious if anyone was lucky with this? My gas fireplace has a simple wall-mounted switch. Start, come back. Turn it over, it stops. I thought it would be great to be able to use a smart switch to incorporate it into some scenes. One problem is that I don't have light switches with neutral wires, so there would be no energy. I read that a solution uses a dimmer switch that would always have a certain power, therefore keeping the switch on and connected. I saw the Lutron Smart Home Dimmer Switch Box with Wallplate on Amazon and thought it might work, but wanted to get your feedback. Thanks in advance for your contribution.
