Wemo Mini smart connectors for sale at Costco. Hard to pass on!
My HomeKit thermostat (Lennox S30) has always used an indefinite stay if I made the change via HomeKit, the same with my ecobee if I remember correctly. But today I just noticed that while changing the temp in the home app resulted in the usual indefinite hold, a change via Siri was standard to "hold […]
When the hell is apple, finally want to step up their game when it comes to reliability? I have always been an early adopter, but all this bs combined with the arch-rooted mess that is literally every single apple software release since September, I start to take a long time before updating anything from now […]
So I went into it today after I picked up a homepod and it asks me to set up Siri. I clicked on the little Home icon and noticed that I have 3 "temp homes" and some random numbers. Wondering how to reset my entire app and start over as I have all these temporary […]
What could be the next big thing for HK? Would HK on robotic lawnmowers be of any help, maybe they could have some earth and weather futures built into them ... I have no idea, just wondering where HK can go.
I have tried to find a 3-way dimmer switch that I can use with the homekit but have not been able to find one. In my current & # 39; non-smart & # 39; setup for this circuit I have 2 non-dimming rocker switches and 1 damper switch. Ideally, I'd just like to replace the […]
I'm trying to understand which TVs (OLED for me) are Homekit compatible. So many listings, including Apple's, seem to use airplay and Homekit about each other. I followed the links to Sony's site and they may not have updated the 2019 models. They still just say Android.
Why is this so awful? It's so bad, considering that it worked very well on iOS 12. This is just a single topic, and there are plenty of others around this area.
I recently bought a new TV (LG C9) and will need to replace my existing Denon receiver. Is there any recipient that is homekit compatible (not luck from my search) or works with shortcuts?
I have a set that has a Vizio TV with built-in Chromecast and uses my iphone to cast YouTube on it. Often, when I play music this way, "hey siri" doesn't work properly. The phone listens for a few seconds and stops, instead of listening to the whole sentence. I tried tuning music through Airplay, […]
Did anyone know why every time I try to edit my thermostat rules to leave and enter location, it won't be saved. It gives me a bug that reads "could not edit automation" location automation. "I'm so confused
Currently has a Google WiFi setup and has been looking to transition to HomeKit more. I've been looking at Linksys Velop and Netgear Orbi. Can anyone with one of them tell me their experiences with the two? I have read a few reports that Velop can cause performance issues over time. Meanwhile, Orbi seems to […]
I'm trying to find a way to homecitify my downlights, which consists of a lot of GU5.3 lamps. I just saw that Osram has launched some (smart GU5.3 bulbs) (https://www.amazon.de/Tunable-ZigBee-Lightify-compatible-Auswahl/dp/B079Z33YMH), but I'm not sure, if I can use them through HomeKit / Siri? Any experiences?
KIWI design Camera wall bracket for Arlo / Wyze / Rift sensor / Vive base station
I installed a Bluetooth switched on my outdoor light. I need to find a way to extend the signal so that it can communicate with my Apple TV. Any suggestions?
Testing some Christmas magic with iDevices, Hue, WeMo and Fibaro!
So, I know the light switches still work because they bind directly into HoneKit, but they've all just started to flash their little green lights, and that's very distracting. I have already tried to reset the factory. I added HoneKit fine again, but it still flashes. Any suggestions?
Looking to get a HomeKit activated deadbolt for my back door. From a little bit of research, it seems the Schlage sense or the intelligent lock in August is the way to go. Am I missing one? But what I’m really interested in doing is getting CarPlay in iOS 13 to give me a geofence […]
Anyone know how to fix this?
Is there under RGB dimmable lighting available for HomeKit that I can attach to? I already have some installed that are wired and controlled by a switch but will swap them out for wired rgb ones for mood lighting. I have an open concept kitchen. I have been looking at illuminated strips of light, but […]
Nanoleaf Canvas as HomeKit Switch: Has Anyone Succeeded in Making it Work Reliably?
Hello everyone: Looking for the most reliable, also reasonable price to put an open / close sensor on every window and door in the house. Would probably add something like 22 sensors. It looks like some of the settings are: & # X200B; 1st Eve - not crazy about Bluetooth connectivity and each sensor is […]
I've always asked my HomePod to play a radio station of "Hey Siri, play ___ Radio". It has worked well until the latest updates. When I ask now, I get "sorry, I can't create a station based on it" What am I doing wrong?
I would very much like to see Apple invest in producing their own wifi mesh system. The router can be HomeKit enabled and they can even borrow from GoogleNest wifi to place a mini HomePod in each node. Just see a huge potential for HomeKit if they ever went this route.
I would like a low voltage switch to turn a humidifier magnet magnet on / off if a leak is detected. I have an aircraft carrier that occasionally runs over. I will create an automation when my Fibaro leak detector senses water, it will turn off the power to the solenoid. Is there such a […]
Even before iOS13, I had problems with my extensive HomeKit setup, which is connected to a Netgear Orbi mesh Wifi system. I have therefore purchased three Google Wifi devices and will try to configure this to see if it improves things. To make the transition as smooth as possible, I planned to give the new […]
The first of LifeSmart's newly activated HomeKit devices has begun to appear. Here is SmartStation, the bridge / hub where most other LifeSmart devices connect.
Apple, now you can very much ruin everything ?! Everything worked perfectly on ios 12!
