HoneyWell Lyric Alarm - HomeKit Compatibility Thoughts and Experience
Does anyone have any pointers on how to get my geo location to start working with my HomeKit? I have tried almost everything from resetting everything to restoring everything. My automation when I get home doesn't work and I can't figure out why for my life. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have not found a really good list of available commands to use Siri to control homekit. Hope we can begin to crowd source some voice commands that we have tried and know about work. Lights: Set light to x% Turn the lights down Turn on the lights Color Control: Make the lights Color Thermal […]
Hey. I'm tired of trying this, but always the same: *** "Couldn't add accessories" ***. I have written in the WeMo community .. will see if anything happens. Here are the details of my case: With the WeMo app works fine, but it is ** impossible to make it work at HomeKit **. I have […]

Yeelight Light Strip Plus - HomeKit Compatible?
With context, I canceled my home internet and sold my WiFi Router and chose to move to Bluetooth-enabled HomeKit devices to save money. I made a few posts about this earlier and was told "what is the meaning you won't be able to control anything away from home" Good surprise, I can still control my […]
Hi, I hope someone can give perspective in this HomeKit nightmare I've been in for over 4 months ... I'm stuck on the page Loading accessories and scenes. I have tried everything I can find on the internet to solve this problem. I have had a case open with Apple Support for 4 months, but […]
AVIA Multi-point smart lock with HomeKit support for launch in May
Why doesn't this work? Sensor is Logitech circle 2
iOS 13 will have "An upgraded home program as part of the company's smart home repository will be more integrated with security cameras and have the ability to see past recordings."
https://i.redd.it/mw3pdkk85tw21.jpg Thought it might be interesting. It shows how my setup is done using a mix of Homebridge and Homekit. I prefer Friday lock for August, because Friday has a rechargeable battery, is smaller and has failed to deliver (August doorbell) I prefer Lyric Contact sensors to Eva - I find Eva a little too […]
Did you know that the HomeKit platform supports more complex automations than home delivery? There are apps out there that support the more complex rules - and when configured, Home App & # 39; will (at least in some cases) show you the full complexity of automation. Example apps (there may be others): * Controller […]
1. Do you need the premium subscription to get homekit motion detection? 2. If you have a premium subscription, can you see zones you have created? 3. Is there a delay for homekit to respond to motion detected?
I have an automation problem which I think is probably a HomeKit error but only if ... I have a Hue motion sensor that I use to trigger the kitchen lights when we enter. I have four different HomeKit scenes for morning, day, evening and night, and I want the motion sensor to trigger them […]
It has apple tv app. And I confirmed that I can airplay my phone and laptop for it. But the worst part! Isn't it Homekit. So I can't test the TV and control the volume. That's all I really wanted now, I'm disappointed. Any other way I can control the TV volume from the apple […]
A few weeks ago (I wrote here) (https://homekit.blog.com/r/HomeKit/comments/bhvfky/hunter_douglas_powerview_homekit_delay_and_lag/) about issues I had with the PowerView HomeKit integration, such as Laggy response times and grouped blinds that didn't move at all. I have also sent them about this as well, and originally got a standard rejection response from the customer service team. Today I received a […]
Page iOS 12.3. and HomePod updates all my wifi-connected devices, including HomePod & # 39; I can't play music via AirPlay, I can't control my bulbs etc. I tried it with different WiFis and reset my iPhone and a few devices ... nothing helps ... any ideas?
Good morning and welcome back to Icon Garden! This week in HomeKit, We take your feedback a few weeks ago and prepare a top 5 user requests prior to WWDC and discuss the likelihood that everyone will reach us via iOS 13! ### Section 12: I tune, you tune, we all tune to iTunes ### […]
Hey. I have a pair of Koogeek RGB bulbs and an RGB LED strip. I wondered if there is an iOS or Mac app (not to download or compile from github) that would allow me to sync music to the lights. In the same vein, you can sync it to my screen (for Mac in […]
I have a reliable HomeKit house with an Apple TV 4K and 4th gen as HomeKit hubs today. I added a Premis lock to my garage, which is far outside my other hubs, so I got an old one (updated to v7.3, logged in to iCloud, Bluetooth enabled, airplay enabled, etc.) Apple TV 3rd gen […]
I can be alone in this respect, but I don't know or understand the hype around Aqara and their homekit units. I have a few concerns with them, 1] to be their cost. If they are so cheap we would not expect them to work / perform badly, or are they not? and 2] many […]
I was looking for a Lutron Caseta ELV switch and saw the 30% coupon available. Only available on selected contacts. Unsure when it expires. Can't find a direct link. But I saw it for several of the starter packs. Good shopping!
I want to use the eco-comfort setting in a state. I see the scenes set to a "custom" 0, 1 or 2, but I can't find anyway to access this for a condition.
Home Depot is discounting one of HK Hunter ceiling fans today.
So I just updated to iOS 12.3 on my XR, downloaded the updated firmware on my P series Vizio (2018), and every time I try to create AirPlay or HomeKit, it just throws a mistake and says it can't connect . Is this because the TV does not recognize the existence of 12.3 or is […]
Hi, After upgrading my Aqara Hub to 1.6.1 Aqara support team told me to remove Hub from Aqara app and Home app and then add again to Mi Home App. I removed it from both aps and when I try to add it to the Mi Home (or Aqara app), I see errors shown on […]
