Is Honeywell Lyric Sent With Homekit Firmware? No surveillance in Australia?

Does anyone know if Honeywell Lyric Home Security controllers now come with the latest HomeKit-enabled firmware? I think it would v1.04 or later? My problem is that I live in Australia and would love to buy the Lyric controller from Amazon, but there are no monitoring companies in Australia that support this device to my […]

Another complaint about HomePod's changing geofence.

I do not know what happens to geofence HomePod is set up, but it never sticks and stays in the same place. I completely reset the entire HomeKit setup, it plopped in the right place ... for a week. So last week the pin moved around the corner from the house. Now it's across the […]

Philips Hue Lights all turn on itself

I have about 10 shade white bulbs setup through HomeKit. Recently, they have been randomly beaten by themselves for apparently no reason at all. I went through and turned off any automation possible and yet they still seem to be switched on by themselves or off by themselves. I have no automation in either HomeKit […]

Scenes disappear and units float

A bit of a problem today. Added new units to my home and went to put them in the right rooms but they "didn't stay there". Then, the scenes also do not remain by creating new scenes. And recreating the scenes tells me that these names already exist in the home - but are nowhere […]

IKEA Tradfri control outlet is now exposed to HomeKit

FYI Gateway update was the first time, took a few minutes. The output itself still shows "update", but is already visible in HomeKit. Firmware update must be done in stages based on geographical location. It appears that the United States is in the first group of countries to which they have released the update.

Does all HomeKit accessories require 3/3 app?

I just bought a Phillips Hue set (Bridge and Lightstrip Plus). I love it so much after the setup. But one thing that bugs me is why it required the Philips Hue app to set up the device in the first place. It took me to understand why the scan of the code didn't recognize […]

Sylvania A19 incandescent lamp

I've looked for some onions like this for a bathroom vanity. I have one that needed four onions. Come over these and were surprised at how cheap they are. Cost me less than $ 15 each bulb. Well, I installed them today, I can see why they were cheap. Very easy to install no connection […]

Homehub Reliability ... HomePod vs. ATV4k

I help manage a setup with about 100 powers. Using 1 ATV4K, running perfectly, then come together tvOS12. tvOS12.1.2 is more stable than 12, 12.1.0 etc., but not nearly as rock solid as tvOS11. Still with intermittent problems that are quite annoying, especially in a commercial environment. I am considering getting another ATV4K to help […]

Honeywell Lyric Security HomeKit Messages

Better to automate in homekit or app of accessories?

I'm a fan of the Hue app and its automation, but not so much for other accessories like Eve Elgato and Onvi. I am concerned that it is possible to create conflicting routines. Do you find it better to set up your routines in the home app or app for the accessory provider?

Sri on HomePod is not equal to Sri on clock or phone

Hi, & # X200B; For a while I have seen that Siri on HomePod has trouble controlling my LifX bulbs, but Siri on AppleWatch or iPhone seems to almost always work fine (commands finished right away). Force iPhone to go through Apple TV when you turn on / off lights

When I ask Siri to turn on / off OSRAM Smart + Light ((https://smartplus.ledvance.com/)(https://smartplus.ledvance.com/)) I often get the answer "I tried but the light did'nt answer ". I suppose it's because it uses bluetooth and that iPhone communicates directly with the light. If I turn off Bluetooth so that Apple TV does the command instead […]
