I want to use the eco-comfort setting in a state. I see the scenes set to a "custom" 0, 1 or 2, but I can't find anyway to access this for a condition.

So I just updated to iOS 12.3 on my XR, downloaded the updated firmware on my P series Vizio (2018), and every time I try to create AirPlay or HomeKit, it just throws a mistake and says it can't connect . Is this because the TV does not recognize the existence of 12.3 or is […]
Hi, After upgrading my Aqara Hub to 1.6.1 Aqara support team told me to remove Hub from Aqara app and Home app and then add again to Mi Home App. I removed it from both aps and when I try to add it to the Mi Home (or Aqara app), I see errors shown on […]

Best Buy offers the SmartThermostat ecobee with HomeKit and Alexa Voice Control, as well as a $ 50 gift card for $ 249. This is worth $ 299, because the cutoff normally costs $ 249 and is the best we have followed historically. For comparison, the best offer we've seen so far on the latest […]
I put this more here for all other VO users searching for the information. If you are fortunate that you do not have to worry about how accessible a company has made their app, feel free to skip this one. Currently, the iDevices app is the only one that allows firmware updates. I kept losing […]
Runs 50+ HomeKit units and has had very few issues with it. From about 2 weeks ago I now come anywhere from 2-15 No response is constant and while the app is open, the no answer changes and jumps all over the place and jumps between different units. It will show 9 no answer, then […]
Does anyone know if it's possible to control homekit from the background? Thanks!
I have done lots of research on home automation (by moving into a new home) and I have derived two conclusions about HomeKit: 1. Apple's HomeKit strategy remains best in class Apple's approach is to distribute home automation control and hub over existing devices you already have in your home, rather than spending money on […]

I have a fairly simple automation. I want my foyer light (on homekit) to turn on at sunset. But it does not work. All my other automation (even for the same light to turn off at 9 am every day) work. Any ideas if sunset automation is turned up in one way or another?
Anyone else experiences this problem with 12.3? All my automation works well, except the automations triggered by Hue motion sensors. All 6 of my sensors are no longer able to trigger automation. This happened as soon as my HomePod was upgraded to 12.3
I've been working with Apple this past month, and they said this was a problem that would be corrected at 12.3, but it wasn't. In fact, I don't have much faith in Apple support, as I often explain how Homekit works. Of course, they do not use it or have any training in it. I […]
Do you think that would be a good idea for Apple? I want them to use them to create a rather solid HomeKit solution, if it is correct and over time, Google seemed to have failed. Maybe there is more to it than I know.

A lot of websites note Circle 2 accessories as discontinued. This comes after last weekend many accessories had a 50% discount. I wonder if the accessories just don't sell or if Circle 3 is on the way. With Nest becoming more restrictive, it would be a good time to have accessories available for people who […]
Hey. I'm thinking of buying a Logitech Circle 2 camera - the wired version for HK. & # X200B; A few questions for you who use it: * ** How many units / users can see the same power in HK at one time? ** * ** Is it possible to watch live view from […]
Are there any others with MyQ openers having problems recently? Homekit closes the doors but does not open them. FWIW MyQ apps (new and old) have the same problems. I tried to restart the bridges and not have my phone on wifi and mobile. It may not seem to make my functionality work again.

I'm getting crazy, I can't make HomeKit turn on Apple TV anymore after setting up an access point. I used to be able to stop and play them through the HomeKit app. I can still connect to the remote app and when I play music for them, they wake up. Last night I set up […]

I've been using Apple products for many years now, so when I switched to HomeKit, I expected it to be much better than what it was.
